ABOUT ME
- Currently (September 2025), I am starting my seventh semester as a journalism student at Louisiana State University (LSU) while working as a sports producer / reporter / anchor for the university’s television station (Tiger TV), with very clear goals. I want to work on the sports media industry.
- I spent the summer in NYC as ABC News. It has been a blessing to be part of this newsroom, having the opportunity of impacting the teams that where I interned, finished pitching, writing, editing and producing 5 PKG's.
- After spending long hours watching television, especially sports programs, I discovered my greatest passion: journalism, specifically in sports. I have been running this website for six years now, where I write about the topics that interest me most in the world of sports. Alongside this page, I have an Instagram account, @santiagorodriguezarana, where I upload what I consider the most important content from the same field on a daily basis.
- I worked as an intern at Hiper Producciones, Ines Sainz company. I created and managed an internal communications program for Totalplay, aimed at enhancing employee engagement. Also wrote scripts for Inés Sainz, covering the Mexican National Team, Super Bowl LVII, CONCACAF Gold Cup, Liga MX, and PGA Tour events, broadcast on TV Azteca.
- I graduated from High School at John F. Kennedy The American School of Querétaro, where I studied most of my life. In my first year of high school, I did an exchange year in Nuremberg, Germany. I speak a good level of English, as I started learning it at a young age and had the chance to attend camps in the United States and Canada to further improve my skills. At JFK, I had the opportunity to be part of the TEDxYouth@JFKQRO event, where I gave my first TED Talk about following your dreams in English. Here’s the link if you’d like to watch it.
